What Customers are Saying About BBD Cushions
 | To whom it may concern:
I've been a quadriplegic since a diving accident in 1956. I was frustrated at the downtime involved as a result of sitting in a wheelchair on various types of cushion and believe me I've tried them all. I finally thought possibly there would be some kind of air cushion allowing a shift in pressure point while sitting. I ran across a Bye-Bye Decubiti years and years ago and my frustration ceased. I no longer worry about such problems. You new cushion is much improved over the older version both in quality and durability.
Thank you for a product that has enhanced my like immeasurably!

 | Dear Sirs:
I am a housewife who has been paraplegic for the past 16 years. Up until three years ago I had spent considerable time in and out of the hospital with decubitus ulcers. Nothing short of lying in bed on my face helped to prevent or cure the condition. We tried everything . . . foam rubber, rubber rings, etc. . . . perhaps I should have learned to stand on my head and walk with my hands!!!
Three years ago I had yet another operation to remove old infected material and scar tissue. The area as becoming rather depleted of "raw material" so something had to be done or it meant being bedridden. (With two children, a husband, two dogs and two cats to take care of as well as PTA and church board positions to fill, I could hardly do that!!!) A doctor relative suggested that an air cushion, so that started a search that turned up your Bye-Bye Decubiti cushion at Abbey Rents here in Seattle. (I can tell you after 13 years of fighting decubiti, I was very skeptical of your literature, which guaranteed "spectacular results"!
Well, how does one say thank you for being spared hours of pain and fever? Or for the thousands of dollars saved in hospital and medical care? Or for extra years of life? I only wish every orthopedic doctor in the country knew about your cushion and that every new paraplegic could be warned against sitting on anything except your cushion.
Now, besides thanking you, I have a request . . . I am finishing up six weeks on my stomach healing some old scar tissue which broke down on my left buttock (due, I'm sure, I am sure to the fact I felt so carefree using your product that I no longer checked that area every day as I had done for so many years . . . in fact, I was active from 7:00 am until 11:00 pm everyday . . . which is probably why I have worn out three BBD cushions.)
Thank you again for your wonderful invention!!

 | Dear Sir,
About six weeks ago I bought one of your anti-decubiti air cushions.
I would like you to know that the cushion has proved to be every bit as good as your literature said it was. The combination of even pressure and plenty of ventilation holes has completely eliminated the hot, sweaty sore spots I used to develop while using four inches of foam rubber. The tufted, rectangular shape makes the cushion comfortable and stable without requiring me to sit exactly in the middle as I had to when I tried using a rubber ring.
Because I believe they are far superior to other types, I have recommended your cushions to several of my friends.
A satisfied customer,

 | Dear Sir,
If ever a slogan was perfect, your "Bye-Bye Decubiti" is. I have used your cushion for almost a year, and the results still have me on "cloud 9". I am a traumatic paraplegic. The accident happened 24 years ago. For 23 of those years, no matter how carefully I handled myself, decubiti appeared from time to time. However, since your cushions came into my life, decubiti have been history.
Very Sincerely,
- J.P., Orlando, Florida |

 | Gentlemen:
I have used one of your cushions for the last twelve years. Except for the repair with a few patches, it has served me well.
I have never had any skin problems or sores when I used it. Usually I am using the cushion with my wheelchair for more than fourteen continuous hours each day. I cannot use a foam cushion for one hour without getting uncomfortable.
Thank you,
- M.E. Sprosty, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin |

 | Dear Sir,
We bought a BBD cushion one year ago and it has proved to be very satisfactory. In fact we highly recommend them to anyone who is in a wheelchair. My son who is paralyzed has had no pressure problems with your pillow. That is why we are ordering a second one for a spare. We do not want to take any chances in case something happens to the one.
Thank you for your good product and assistance.
Sincerely
- M.M., Palmdale, California |

 | Dear Sir,
I have been using your cushion since 1959 and they are the very best all-around cripple cushion. Twenty-eight years as a quad and never a sore on my seat! Keep up the good work.
Best Regards,

 | Dear Sir,
I have enclosed a check for yet another one of your cushions. Could you please send the cushion at your earliest possible convenience? I have used your cushions since 1968 and I have never found any other cushion that can compare to yours.
Thank You
- R.N., Unionville, Missouri |

 | Dear Sir,
Your cushion came yesterday, as you predicted, and I have now sat upon it for a full day. You were right about the comfort. I am riding on air. The perpetual pain is gone! Typing is much less a chore. I look forward to a full day of productivity. If the joy ride continues, as you promised, I will have found the most important aid to my journey in life since the wheelchair. |

 | Dear Sir,
In May of 1982 I purchased a model WL cushion from you and used the lambskin wool cover on it. A great big "Thanks" to you, my sores are gone. I couldn't believe that ugly brown cushion would work, but it did.
Sincerely
- D.D., Dover, Delaware |
