The Adjustable Cantilever Footbase is specially manufactured for use with wheelchairs with non-removable footplates. It cantilevers over the fixed footplates of the wheelchair.
The initial position of a person's feet while on the cantilever base is higher than the wheelchair footplates. Therefore, tall people appear artificially taller when using this accessory. Use of this accessory should be limited to person's whose height is 6 feet or less and is not recommended for use in an institution.

The Adjustable Elevated Footbase is available in several models to fit various EasyPivots. It is an adjustable platform that bolts to the EasyPivot base. Convenient pull pins allow for quick height adjustment. Height adjustment ranges from 0 to 8 inches in approximate 2-inch increments.
The Adjustable Elevated Footbase is recommended for growing children and short adults.

The Pedestal Footbase is a fixed, wooden platform with an upholstered surface. It is manufactured in heights of 2, 4, and 6 inches to raise the child or adult whose legs are too short to reach the EasyPivot base.
The Pedestal Footbase is an alternative to the Adjustable Elevated Footbase.

The Rigid Heel Plates are optional footplates for the Model EP-82 that employ a welded heel plate approximately two (2) inches high to help prevent feet from kicking back during lifting.

Heel Straps are soft, vinyl padded nylon straps that loop between two fixed bolts that can be screwed into pre-existing holes in the EasyPivot footbase. Heel Straps are adjustable in length.
Heel Straps are useful for persons with medium tone that causes legs to kick back while lifting.

Toe Straps, like Heel Straps, are sewed nylon loops used to contain the patient's foot from forward movement during lifting.
Toe Straps are useful for persons who exhibit cloness or persons of high tone who kick during lifting.
