Step 1 - Placing the Thigh Strap

Strap placement takes only seconds.

Each EasyPivot Patient Lift comes with a multi-loop thigh strap. Special thigh straps are available for specialized needs.

  1. Place the thigh strap under the thighs of the person being transferred.

  1. Position the thigh strap at the top of the thighs and avoid putting pressure on the ischia ("sitting bones").

Step 2 - Placing the Other Straps

There is an optional adjustable foot base available for children or persons in tall chairs or with short legs.

  1. Place the feet of the person being transferred on the base of the EasyPivot Patient Lift.

  1. Brace the EasyPivot Patient Lift with your foot.

  1. Pull the EasyPivot's levers downward using a smooth motion.

  1. The weight of the person being transferred begins to shift to the front of the pivot point and the EasyPivot locks into its upright position.

Step 4 - Making the Transfer

  1. The person being transferred is now comfortably positioned for the transfer.
