Press Release
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The new
machine base is a modular off shoot of the institutional model EP-260. The new machines combine the base of the EP-260
with the column assembly of the standard home machine.
Therefore, patient lift users and dealers can upgrade from the
standard wrench adjustable base to a crank adjustable unit that can be varied even with
the patient aboard. Upgrading to
the new base simplifies and facilitates the use of the EasyPivot in many living
situations. With the new base, the machine
can be widened to accommodate easy chairs and big wheelchairs, and narrowed to negotiate
hallways and small doors. An added benefit
is that the upgrade EP-260 base can carry up to 330 pounds of weight. Machines with
the field variable base have outside width that can be varied from 25 to 37. Adjustments are made by rotating small cranks. Designation for machines fitted with the variable
base is EP-82/260 and EP-110/260. Adding to the
machines versatility, variable height foot bases are available on the special 260
upgrade Both the
EP-82/260 and EP-110/260 will join Rand-Scots other products including EasyPivot Patient Lifts, BBD (Bye-Bye Decubiti) Therapeutic Cushions and
mattress overlays and the Saratoga Exercise
Cycles. If there are questions or if detail is needed, please contact Joel Lerich, President, Rand-Scot Inc., at joel@randscot.com or (800) 467-7967.
